For healthcare fit-outs, IBS specifies vinyl flooring (heterogeneous, coved skirting), washable anti-microbial wall panels, lay-in ceiling tiles with appropriate infection control ratings, stainless steel hand hygiene stations, and medical gas panels where required. Material specifications are aligned to NABH guidelines.

Yes. Our MEP team handles medical gas systems (oxygen, suction, compressed air, where applicable with licensed gas contractor collaboration), isolated power circuits for medical equipment, nurse call systems, and HVAC to healthcare ventilation requirements.

Yes. We phase fit-out works and implement dust and infection control barriers between construction zones and active clinical areas. Our protocols are designed for live healthcare environments where patient safety is non-negotiable.

Yes. We provide all required documentation, structural drawings, MEP as-built drawings, material test certificates, fire safety compliance certificates, and handover documentation, to support your NABH accreditation process.

Yes. Hospital wayfinding is a specialised design discipline, patients in distress need clear, accessible, multi-language directional systems. We design and install wayfinding systems for large hospital campuses, including accessible signage and multi-language text.

Yes. Full OPD block fit-outs, from bare floor plate to fully finished, commissioned, and compliant clinical space, are within our turnkey scope. This includes civil finishing, MEP, false ceiling, flooring, partition systems, joinery, and clinical wayfinding signage.

Yes. X-ray room and imaging suite fit-outs require lead-lined walls, lead glass viewing windows, interlocked entry systems, and radiation safety signage. IBS coordinates with a licensed radiation physicist for shielding calculations and installs to the approved specification.

All hospital fit-outs include fire-rated partitions for high-risk zones, fire-rated doors with auto-close mechanisms, smoke detectors and sprinkler provisions, emergency lighting and exit signage, and fire NOC documentation. Healthcare facilities have stricter fire compartmentation requirements than standard commercial buildings. IBS designs to these.

Yes. Modular OT systems, laminar airflow units, stainless steel wall and ceiling panels, integrated medical gas panels, surgical lighting provisions, and OT control rooms, are a specialist healthcare scope that IBS delivers. We work with approved OT equipment vendors for laminar flow and lighting.

Yes. Diagnostic centre fit-outs, CT scan rooms, MRI suites (non-magnetic construction requirements), ultrasound rooms, pathology labs, and sample collection centres, are standard healthcare project types. Each has unique infrastructure requirements that IBS is experienced in.

Consultation rooms require speech privacy: acoustic partitions, acoustic doors, and sound-absorbing ceiling systems are specified for patient-facing areas. We also provide acoustic isolation for MRI and CT equipment rooms where vibration isolation is a requirement.

Yes. Nurse call systems, patient communication panels, and corridor call light systems are part of our clinical MEP scope. We coordinate with the nurse call equipment vendor for system programming, while IBS handles all civil, conduit, and power works.

Yes. Pharmacy fit-outs require temperature-controlled storage provisions, controlled drug storage (compliant with DCGI storage guidelines), dispensing counter design, patient consultation area, and clinical signage. IBS designs and builds pharmacy interiors to these requirements.

Yes. Dental clinic fit-outs, treatment rooms with dental chair provisions and overhead light points, X-ray room with shielding, sterilisation room with autoclave provisions, reception, and waiting area, are standard scope. We design the dental unit power, water, and suction routing from the fit-out stage.

A small single-specialty clinic (500–1,000 sq ft) typically costs ₹8 Lakh to ₹18 Lakh for a mid-specification fit-out. Diagnostic centres and multi-specialty OPDs range from ₹25 Lakh to ₹80 Lakh depending on equipment infrastructure. IBS provides a detailed BOQ after a site visit.

Yes. Medical waste water systems, including segregated drainage for clinical waste, pre-treatment provisions before municipal connection, and bio-medical waste storage area construction, are part of our healthcare MEP scope. All drainage is designed to SPCB and CPCB guidelines.

Yes. Clean room construction for laboratory environments, positive and negative pressure rooms, HEPA filtration provisions, seamless flooring, and coved wall-floor junctions for cleanability, is within our specialist scope. Clean room classification (ISO class) is confirmed at the brief stage.

Yes. We offer annual maintenance contracts (AMCs) for healthcare fit-outs covering periodic inspection of MEP systems, replacement of consumable items (filters, lamps, signage laminates), and priority response for workmanship defects within the defect liability period.

IBS provides a complete hospital signage programme: external pylon signs, building identification boards, department wayfinding, room numbering systems, fire exit and safety signage, accessible signage to RPwD standards, and regulatory compliance boards. All signage is manufactured in-house and installed by our team.
