In Short

Office branding is the applied brand layer inside a workplace: reception logo walls, wayfinding and door signage, printed wall murals, branded glass manifestation, and culture or values walls. Impulse Branding Solutions designs, fabricates and installs all of it in-house in Mumbai, usually inside the fit-out programme rather than as a separate mobilisation afterwards, for corporate offices, co-working operators and enterprise campuses across India.

An office carries a brand in three places at once: the moment a visitor reaches reception, the way people find their way around, and the surfaces employees look at every day. Most workplaces treat those as three separate purchases from three suppliers, which is why the logo wall, the door signs and the breakout mural often do not look like they belong to the same company. IBS treats them as one scheme, manufactured on one calibrated pipeline and installed by one crew.

What We Make

What office branding does IBS design and install?

Five distinct scopes, each with its own material, tolerance and approval path. Most workplace projects use four of the five, and quoting them together is what keeps the brand reading consistently across the floor.

Print Branding · Type 01

Reception Logo Walls

The first brand surface a visitor sees, and the one built to the tightest tolerance. Fabricated three-dimensional letters and logos in acrylic, brushed or mirror stainless steel, or powder-coated MS, mounted on a backing wall or a feature panel. Halo-lit, front-lit or non-lit depending on the reception lighting design. Mounting is engineered to the wall substrate, so a plasterboard partition gets a different fixing detail from a masonry wall.

Print Branding · Type 02

Wayfinding & Door Signage

The system that makes a floor navigable: directory boards at lift lobbies, directional signs at decision points, cabin and meeting room nameplates, and floor identification. Nameplates are usually acrylic or aluminium with interchangeable inserts, because people and room names change more often than the signage budget does. Statutory and fire exit signage is specified alongside so it does not arrive later in a different visual language.

Print Branding · Type 03

Wall Murals & Printed Graphics

Large-format graphics printed on wall-grade self-adhesive vinyl or wallcovering and applied directly to prepared walls, for breakout areas, corridors, cafeterias and stairwells. Printed in-house on calibrated wide-format machines with a colour-matched proof signed off before production, so a brand blue on the mural matches the brand blue on the reception wall.

Print Branding · Type 04

Branded Glass & Manifestation

Frosted and printed film on glass partitions and meeting-room fronts, doing two jobs at once: carrying brand pattern or messaging, and providing the visual marking that stops people walking into glass. Applied as cut vinyl, full-coverage printed film or etched-effect frost, with the manifestation band height set to the workplace safety requirement rather than to taste.

Print Branding · Type 05

Culture, Values & Recognition Walls

The internal-facing surfaces: values statements, timeline walls, photo grids, award displays and recognition boards. Usually built as a modular system with changeable panels or magnetic inserts, because a wall that cannot be updated stops being read within a year. Fabricated from ACP, acrylic or laminated board depending on the finish and the update frequency.

Specification

Materials and standards we work to

Office branding lives at arm's length, gets touched, and sits under the same lighting all day. It is judged more closely than external signage, so the specification is about finish quality and colour accuracy rather than weather resistance.

Media and materials

  • Wall-grade vinyl and wallcovering: 3M and Avery Dennison self-adhesive media rated for interior wall application and clean removal
  • Acrylic: cast acrylic for fabricated letters and nameplates, laser cut in-house for a flame-polished edge
  • Stainless steel: SS 304 in brushed or mirror finish for reception lettering, laser cut and folded
  • ACP: aluminium composite panel for feature walls and modular culture-wall carriers
  • Glass film: printed and frosted polyester film, applied wet for a bubble-free finish on large panes

Finish and colour

  • Pantone reconciliation against your brand manual before anything is printed or painted
  • Colour-matched proof signed off against a physical swatch under office lighting, not showroom lighting
  • Powder coating and anodising for metal elements, rather than site-applied paint
  • Consistent finish across print, fabrication and paint, because all three run through the same approval

Installation and safety

  • Substrate-appropriate fixing: plasterboard, blockwork, glass and ACP each get a different detail
  • Glass manifestation band height set to the workplace safety requirement, not to visual preference
  • Electrical connection for lit elements coordinated with the site electrical contractor
  • Wall surface prepared and made good before application, so vinyl does not lift at a seam
  • Installation sequenced before furniture goes in, which is when walls are still accessible
  • Fire exit and statutory signage specified in the same visual system, not bought separately
  • Lit reception elements tested at the site's own lighting level before sign-off

How We Deliver

From brief to handover.

Office branding is usually the last thing specified and the first thing rushed. Running it on this sequence, alongside the fit-out rather than after it, is what avoids reprints and made-good walls.

  1. Brand and space brief

We take your brand manual and the floor plan together, and agree which surfaces carry brand, which carry wayfinding, and which stay quiet.

  2. Site survey

Measured survey of every surface, including substrate type, wall condition, switch and socket positions, and access.

  3. Design and proofing

Scaled production artwork per surface, material recommendations, and a colour-matched physical proof approved before production.

  4. In-house production

Printing, laser cutting, fabrication and powder coating at the IBS Mumbai facility, with QC on every piece before dispatch.

  5. Installation

Installed by IBS crews, sequenced before furniture placement and coordinated with the fit-out programme where one is running.

  6. Handover

Snag walk, made-good where needed, and a handover pack with material specifications for future updates and replacements.

Why Buyers Choose IBS

Built in-house. Owned outright.

Office branding is a small line on a fit-out budget and a large part of what the finished space feels like. These are the four things that decide whether it reads as designed or as applied afterwards.

01

Installed inside the fit-out, not after it

Our in-house civil and fit-out team means branding is planned with the interior and installed by the same organisation, while walls are still accessible and before furniture is placed.

02

One colour pipeline across every surface

Print, fabrication and paint are all proofed against one approved physical swatch, so the reception logo, the mural and the door signs read as the same brand rather than three near-misses.

03

Built to be updated

Nameplates take interchangeable inserts and culture walls take changeable panels, because people move and values statements get revised more often than signage budgets are reissued.

04

One contract, single accountability

Design, production and installation under one contract, with GST-compliant, TDS-ready billing and a single point of claim on the workmanship warranty.

How does office branding delivered with the fit-out compare with adding it afterwards?

The same scheme, bought two ways. Almost every problem in the left column comes from the branding scope being awarded after the interior is finished.

Commercials

How office branding engagements are structured

Quoted against a surface schedule rather than a rate per square foot, because the cost of an office branding scheme sits in the fabrication detail and the substrate, not in the area covered.

Questions

Everything procurement heads, project managers, and marketing teams ask before commissioning

Cost & Billing

How much does office branding cost in India?
It is priced against a surface schedule rather than per square foot, because cost sits in the fabrication detail and the substrate rather than the area. A reception logo wall in brushed stainless costs several times the same area in printed vinyl. You receive a line-item quotation per surface.

Timelines

How long does an office branding project take?
Typically two to four weeks from approved artwork to installation for a single floor, depending on how much fabricated metalwork is in the scheme. When it runs inside a fit-out programme it is sequenced against the fit-out dates rather than quoted as a standalone lead time.

Scope & Handover

Do you provide artwork files at handover?
Production files stay with IBS as working files, but the handover pack lists the material, finish and dimension against every surface, which is what a future reprint or replacement actually needs. Brand artwork you supplied remains yours throughout.

Technical

What is office branding?
Office branding is the applied brand layer inside a workplace: reception logo walls, wayfinding and door signage, printed wall murals, branded glass manifestation, and culture or values walls. It is distinct from the fit-out itself, which builds the space, and from graphic design, which produces the artwork.
Can office branding be installed in an occupied office?
Yes, and it is common. Work is phased zone by zone, usually outside working hours or over a weekend, with dust protection and furniture moved and returned by the installation crew. Wall murals and glass film are the least disruptive; fabricated reception lettering needs the most access.
What is glass manifestation and is it mandatory?
Manifestation is the visible marking applied to glass partitions and doors so people do not walk into them. In a workplace it is a safety requirement, and treating it as a branding opportunity rather than a compliance sticker is what makes the difference between a pattern that looks designed and one that looks added.
Will the branding match our brand guidelines exactly?
Pantone references are reconciled against your brand manual before anything is printed or fabricated, and a physical proof is signed off under office lighting rather than showroom lighting. Every surface in the scheme is proofed against that same swatch.
Can nameplates be changed when people move?
Yes. Cabin and meeting room nameplates are specified with interchangeable inserts as standard, so a name change is a printed insert rather than a new plate. The handover pack lists the insert size and material so replacements can be ordered later.
Does IBS design the branding or only produce it?
Both. IBS produces the technical and production artwork needed to fabricate and install, and will develop the scheme from your brand manual where you have no interior consultant. Where a consultant is appointed, IBS executes to their design intent.
Can you brand glass partitions without blocking light?
Yes. Frosted and etched-effect films diffuse rather than block, and patterned or gradient manifestation carries brand while keeping the partition largely transparent. Full-coverage printed film is used only where privacy is the actual requirement.
Do you handle the branding for multiple offices at once?
Yes. Multi-site workplace programmes are run the same way as a branch rollout: one production batch to one approved swatch, then installation by travelling crews, so an office in one city matches an office in another rather than reflecting a local vendor.
What happens if a graphic is damaged later?
The handover pack lists the material specification against each surface, so a like-for-like replacement panel or graphic can be reprinted from the original file rather than colour-matched by eye. Workmanship is warranted for 12 months on interior graphics.
Should office branding be part of the fit-out contract?
Usually yes, and it is cheaper that way. Installing while walls are open and before furniture is placed avoids working around the finished space, and one contract means the wall is built, branded and made good by the same organisation.
What materials last longest in a high-traffic corridor?
Laminated print or ACP panel rather than unlaminated vinyl, because corridors take trolley and shoulder contact. For walls that get cleaned often, a laminated finish also survives repeated wiping without the print abrading.
Do you supply statutory and fire exit signage too?
Yes, and it is worth specifying together. Statutory signage bought separately arrives in a different visual language from the brand wayfinding, which is the most common reason a well-designed floor still looks uncoordinated.
Do you remove and dispose of the old branding?
Yes. Existing graphics, nameplates and lettering are stripped, adhesive residue removed and the wall made good before new work is applied. Removal is quoted as a line item rather than assumed, because an old solvent-adhesive graphic takes far longer to strip than a recent one.
Can you match branding to an existing office we already have?
Yes. We work from the original specification where you have it, or survey and measure the existing installation where you do not, so a second office matches the first rather than approximating it from a brand manual alone.
Which cities does IBS deliver office branding in?
Mumbai and pan-India, including Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune and Ahmedabad, plus the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar and Kuwait. Production runs from the Mumbai facility with travelling installation crews.
